Our images for Boltshauser Architekten and their project "Baufeld F" of the Europaallee for the SBB Immobilien in Zurich. The architects were able to win the competition and successfully implement the project. It took 8 years from the visualizations to completion in 2019.

via www.wxystudio.com: A bridge at this location was studied on a number of occasions by the Battery Park City Authority to replace the Rector Street Bridge. The need for the crossing is specific to the heavy traffic on West Street, its vicinity of the Battery Tunnel exit, and the residential and educational land uses on each side of the bridge. The landings are oriented to minimize impacts to the community playground and gardens on the northwest corner of West Thames Street and West Street. The bridge is designed to maximize daylight and views, reduce maintenance, and offer a safe and enjoyable crossing both in the daytime and during evening hours.

Via https://www.maparchitects.com: The Printhouse is a six story mixed-use, new construction project on Huguenot St. in New Rochelle. Replacing an existing printing warehouse and retail space, the new building will be 90% market rate rentals and 10% affordable units. To target the millennial generation, the design is heavily influenced by integrated technology. Located along the MetroNorth Railroad corridor, its proximity, 30 minutes from New York City, will attract young professionals looking for an affordable alternative.

Visualizations for the New York architecture firm Spacesmith and partner Davis Brody Bond for the redesign of the entrance area of the Earthcam company headquarters. The company writes about itself: "EarthCam is the global leader in webcam content, technology and services." Via https://www.spacesmith.com: In collaboration with partner firm Davis Brody Bond, Spacesmith designed a new entrance, connecting atrium, and 11,000 sf of office interiors for webcam technology leaders EarthCam. The project included re-cladding the existing 26,000 sf cement block building which also holds their technology and manufacturing divisions.
Brooklyn Strand - The "Gateway to Brooklyn” at Anchorage Market and Trinity Park, Brooklyn, NY

Visualizations for a 40 stakeholder community driven initiative to "Reinvent the Brooklyn Strand" ignited by Mayor Bill de Blasio and led by WXY. The initiative seeks to better connect Downtown Brooklyn to Brooklyn Bridge Park creating an enlivened waterfront promenade "Gateway to Brooklyn".
The project "Opale", designed by Lacaton & Vassal Architects/Paris and developed by SBB Immobilien, is located directly at the newly designed Chêne-Bourg railway station in Geneva. The high transparency and multi-layering of the building with external balconies, which include glass sliding elements as well as sun protection blinds in various colors, add to the appeal of the buildings and the difficulty to portray them.
The Technorama Park in Winterthur, Switzerland is designed as an experimental landscape with combination of areas for experiencing nature and technical phenomenons and relaxation. The landscape in the images was created almost completely in photoshop, while most of the exhibits are modelled and rendered.
